Medal of Parliamentarism

On April 17, the Parliament of Georgia awarded schools whose students earned recognition to their country in the international arena.

"A total of 4 schools were awarded. How honoured we are that together with three schools of physics and mathematics (Komarov, Vekua, Razmadze), our Georgian-American High School received an award," the Georgian-American High School noted.

The winning schools were awarded by the Chairman of the Committee of Education, Science and Culture โ€“ Ms Mariam Jashi and her First Deputy Mr Gennady Margvelashvili.

The event was held on the 100th anniversary of the Georgian Parliamentarism. Mr Gennady especially noted the international successes of Georgian-American High School at conferences such as international competitions in Serbia, Botswana, America and Tunisia. The principal of the school, Mamuka Meskhishvili, spoke about the importance of project conferences and wished our team (10 students) success in the international conference of young scientists in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in April 18-26, 2018.
