Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates 2019

Expo-Sciences International (ESI) is the world’s largest science fair, held every two years. The event was hosted by Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. 1500 young people from 57 countries presented their papers at this world forum.

 

Six students of Georgian-American High School (GAHS) defended Georgia’s dignity:

Gvantsa Gumberidze, Lizi Ruadze, Mariam Saparashvili,  Ana Razmadze,  Mariam Tsulukidze and Vako Kakablishvili.

The three projects represented by them were highly estimated in the math section. Specialists unanimously noted the importance of the results and also the innovative form, in particular, all three projects were animated with the help of GEOGEBRA. Of course, all three projects were among the winners – all six students were awarded gold medals.

Participants lived in one of the best hotels – NOVOTEL. Excursions were perfectly organized. Participants visited all major sightseeing’s of Abu Dhabi:

Shaikh Zayed Mosque, Heritage Area, Emirates Palace, Etihad Towers.

The next ESI-2021 will be held in Yucatan, Mexico.
